GSSSB Staff Nurse Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates applying for GSSSB Staff Nurse Recruitment 2026 must satisfy the prescribed nursing qualification, age limit, computer knowledge and language requirements. Eligibility will be decided with reference to 12th October 2026.
GSSSB Staff Nurse Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess any one of the following nursing qualifications from a recognised institution:
- B.Sc Nursing degree recognised by the Gujarat Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council; or
- Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery recognised by the Gujarat Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council.
Candidates must also possess basic knowledge of computer applications and adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both. A candidate who is not already registered with the Gujarat Nursing Council will have to obtain registration before appointment.

The candidate must be at least 18 years old and not more than 35 years old as on 12th October 2026. However age relaxation in the upper age limit is available to eligible categories according to Gujarat Government rules.

GSSSB Staff Nurse Exam Pattern 2026
The GSSSB Staff Nurse examination will consist of two MCQ-based papers carrying 200 marks in total. Each paper will be conducted for two hours. There will be 1/4 negative marking for every incorrect answer.

GSSSB Staff Nurse Salary 2026
Selected candidates will initially receive a fixed monthly salary of ₹40,800 for the first five years. After completion of five years, candidates will be eligible for regular appointment in Pay Level 5 with a pay scale of ₹29,200 to ₹92,300, subject to the applicable Government conditions.
