IOCL Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates applying for IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 must satisfy the discipline-wise educational qualification, marks, age and passing-year requirements. The qualification and age criteria will be determined as of 30th September 2026.

Candidates possessing a Diploma in Engineering through a recognised lateral-entry scheme, where Class 12 Science or ITI candidates were admitted directly into the second year of the Diploma programme, can also be considered eligible subject to meeting the prescribed aggregate percentage requirement.
Higher Qualification Rule for IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026
Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications such as B.E./B.Tech, MBA, MCA, CA, ICWA, LLB or an equivalent higher professional qualification are not eligible under the conditions specified in the notification. Candidates pursuing a higher qualification and completing it on or before joining apprenticeship training will also become ineligible.
A declaration regarding possession or pursuit of higher qualification will be obtained at the time of joining. Suppression of such information can result in cancellation or termination of apprenticeship.

IOCL Apprentice Stipend 2026

IOCL Apprentice Previous Apprenticeship Rule 2026
The notification permits a candidate to undergo a maximum of two apprenticeship trainings, subject to the conditions prescribed in the advertisement. The second apprenticeship cannot be in the same trade.
- A candidate may undergo a maximum of two apprenticeship trainings.
- The second apprenticeship cannot be in the same trade.
- Normally there should be at least one year gap between two completed apprenticeship trainings.
- No gap is required where the previous apprenticeship was terminated because of failure on the part of the employer.

IOCL OBC-NCL Certificate Requirement 2026
OBC-NCL candidates must provide a latest caste certificate issued in the Government of India prescribed format. The certificate should not be more than 12 months old from 30th September 2026 and should confirm that the candidate does not belong to the Creamy Layer.
