What is the Educational Qualification for BHEL Artisan Recruitment?
Candidates must have passed Class 10 from a recognised board to apply for the BHEL Artisan Recruitment 2026-27,. They should also hold a National Trade Certificate (NTC/ITI) and a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the relevant trade. The General and OBC candidates should have at least 60% marks while that of SC/ST candidates need 55% marks in both NTC/ITI and NAC separately. Also, The knowledge of the regional language is desirable for units in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka, while Hindi knowledge is preferred for other units.

The BHEL Artisan Grade 4 Exam Pattern has a total of 120 questions for 120 marks which is to be completed in 90 minutes. The exam also includes 70 questions from Trade-related topics and 30 questions from Engineering Calculations, and 20 questions from Reasoning Ability. Each question has one mark which makes the test both time-bounding and competitive and it requires focused preparation in all three sections.

BHEL Artisan Salary 2026
Candidates who are selected through the BHEL Artisan Recruitment will initially work as temporary employees for one year. During this period, they will receive a fixed salary which will be based on BHEL’s rules. And After successfully completing one year, candidates will then be appointed as regular Artisan Grade IV employees. The BHEL Artisan Salary for regular employees range from ₹29,500 to ₹65,000 along with other allowances as per rules of company. The applicable allowances will depend on the rules in place at the time of regular appointment.
