Indian Army TES 57 Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates applying for Indian Army TES 57 Recruitment 2026 must satisfy the prescribed nationality, marital status, age, educational qualification, JEE Main and medical eligibility requirements.
Indian Army TES 57 Marital Status 2026
The Technical Entry Scheme-57 is open only to unmarried male candidates.
Candidates must undertake not to marry until completion of the full training period. A candidate who marries after submitting the application will not be selected for training even if he successfully clears the selection process.
A candidate who marries during the training period may be discharged and can also be required to refund the expenditure incurred by the Government on his training.

A candidate must be an unmarried male and should satisfy one of the following nationality conditions:
- Citizen of India, or
- Subject of Nepal, or
- Person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Candidates falling under the prescribed foreign-origin categories may require a Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Government of India. The certificate is not required for Gorkha subjects of Nepal.

Only the Date of Birth recorded in the Matriculation, Secondary School Examination or equivalent Class 10th certificate will be accepted for determining age. No other age-related document will be considered.

Indian Army TES 57 PCM Percentage Calculation
Eligibility for the minimum 60% PCM requirement will be calculated from the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 12th.
Candidates must enter their actual Class 12th PCM percentage up to two decimal places while filling the application form. The percentage should not be rounded off.
If any false or incorrect entry in the PCM percentage is detected at any stage of the selection process, the candidature will be cancelled.

Indian Army TES 57 Training 2026
Candidates finally selected under the Technical Entry Scheme will undergo a total of four years of pre-commission military and Engineering training.

The first three years consist of Integrated Basic Military Training and Engineering Training at the respective Cadets Training Wings. The final one year of integrated military and Engineering training will be conducted at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.
Indian Army TES 57 Engineering Degree 2026
Candidates successfully completing the four-year TES training programme will be awarded an Engineering Degree.
A maximum of two academic relegations are permitted during the four-year training period in accordance with the applicable JNU Ordinance. A further academic relegation can result in withdrawal from training.

Indian Army TES 57 CTW Preference 2026
Candidates recommended by the SSB are required to provide preferences for all three Cadets Training Wings.

Indian Army TES 57 Travel Allowance 2026
Candidates appearing for an SSB Interview for the first time for a particular type of Commission may be eligible for AC 3-Tier railway fare or applicable bus fare for the to-and-fro journey within India, subject to the conditions prescribed in the notification.
Candidates appearing again for the same type of Commission are not entitled to the same Travelling Allowance on subsequent occasions.
