NCRTC Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The NCRTC Recruitment 2026 selection process consists of a Computer Based Test followed by a Medical Fitness Test. Candidates must obtain the prescribed qualifying marks in the Computer Based Test (CBT) to be considered for further selection. Final shortlisting will depend on the number of vacancies, category-wise merit and relative performance of candidates. NCRTC CBT Exam Pattern 2026
The NCRTC Computer Based Test will consist of 100 objective-type questions carrying 100 marks. Candidates will get 90 minutes to complete the examination. Each correct answer carries one mark and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. Candidates can choose to appear for the CBT in either Hindi or English.

NCRTC Salary
NCRTC salary varies according to the grade and level of the post. Supervisor-I posts are placed in S1 level with a pay scale of ₹37,000 to ₹1,15,000 and an initial basic pay of ₹37,000. Junior Maintainer posts are placed in NS3 level with a pay scale of ₹18,250 to ₹59,200 and initial basic pay of ₹18,250.
