Candidates can now easily submit their Railway NTPC application only through the official Railway Recruitment Board website which will soon be active. They can follow the simple steps which are mentioned here below.
Step 1 – Go to the official RRB website and then select the regional RRB from which you want to apply. Find and then click on the RRB NTPC Apply Online link.
Step 2 – Click on the New Registration option and enter the required basic details and submit the registration form.
Step 3 – After that use your registration number and password to log in. Also, complete the Railway NTPC application form with the correct details.
Step 4 – Upload the photograph, signature, and category certificate, if there is need. After that submit the form and download or print a copy.
Step 5 – Pay the application fee as per your category through the available payment mode.
RRB NTPC UG Application Fee 2026
Candidates need to pay the prescribed application fee to complete the RRB NTPC application process. The fee amount for RRB NTPC 2026 is different as per the candidate’s category as given below.

Note: RRB will refund Rs. 400 to UR candidates after they appear for the 1st Stage CBT. Is Aadhaar Verification Mandatory for RRB NTPC UG Recruitment 2026?
Yes, candidates have to authenticate their basic details with Aadhaar while filling the RRB NTPC application form. The name and date of birth mentioned in Aadhaar should be the same as mentioned in the 10th class certificate. The candidates should update their Aadhaar with the latest photograph and biometric details. This Aadhaar verification can help in avoiding delays during the recruitment process. Railway NTPC UG Selection Process 2026
The RRB NTPC Undergraduate Selection Process 2026 includes several stages to select suitable candidates for different undergraduate railway posts. Candidates have to qualify at each required stage to continue in the recruitment process.
Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT 1)
CBT 1 is the first examination stage for all RRB NTPC UG posts. It checks the candidates’ knowledge of Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness. Candidates are then shortlisted for the next stage which is based on their performance in CBT 1.
Stage 2: Computer-Based Test (CBT 2)
Candidates who will qualify CBT 1 will be then called for CBT 2. The subjects remain similar, but the questions are set at a higher level. Marks scored in this stage are important for preparing the final merit list.
Stage 3: Typing Skill Test (Applicable Posts)
Candidates applying for Junior Clerk cum Typist and Accounts Clerk cum Typist posts have to clear the Typing Skill Test. This is a qualifying stage where candidates’ typing speed is checked on a computer in English or Hindi.
Stage 4: Document Verification
Candidates who qualify the required written exams and typing test, wherever applicable, are called for Document Verification. Their original educational certificates, identity proof, caste certificate, and other required documents are checked at this stage.
Stage 5: Medical Examination
The last stage of RRB NTPC UG Recruitment is the Medical Examination. Candidates must meet the required medical standards to be considered eligible for appointment to the respective railway post.
