DSSSB Sweeper and Chowkidar recruitment test is a state-level recruitment examination, held every year across various examination centres. DSSSB Photo ID Upload Requirements
For candidates using PAN Card, Voter ID Card, Driving Licence or Passport for registration, the scanned identity proof should be uploaded in JPG/JPEG format. The file size should be between 15 KB and 60 KB. Candidates providing Aadhaar Number as identity proof are not required to upload a scanned identity card at the registration stage.

No. DSSSB has stated that after the online application form is submitted, requests for change, correction or modification of any detail, including change of category, will not be entertained under any circumstances.

DSSSB OBC Delhi Reservation 2026
OBC reservation and age relaxation benefits will be available only to eligible OBC Delhi candidates satisfying the Government of NCT of Delhi requirements. OBC candidates from outside Delhi will be treated as Unreserved candidates and should apply under the UR category.
OBC candidates must possess the applicable OBC certificate on or before 11th November 2026. The required OBC Non-Creamy Layer Certificate should have been issued on or after 1st April 2026 but not later than 11th November 2026.

DSSSB Sweeper and Chowkidar Selection Process 2026
The DSSSB Sweeper and Chowkidar Selection Process 2026 consists of an Objective/MCQ Examination followed by an Interview. The written examination will be conducted by DSSSB, while the Interview will be conducted by the Office of the Principal District & Sessions Judge (HQs), Delhi.

DSSSB Tie Breaking Rule 2026
If two or more candidates belonging to the same category obtain equal marks in the final merit, the tie will be resolved in the following order:
- The candidate who is senior in age will be placed higher in merit.
- If the Date of Birth is also the same, the candidate whose first name comes first in alphabetical order in English will be placed higher.
DSSSB Normalization 2026
If required, marks obtained in the Computer Based Examination may be normalized using the normalization formula adopted by DSSSB. The normalized score will be used for determining merit wherever the examination is conducted in multiple shifts and normalization is applicable.
DSSSB Answer Key 2026
DSSSB will display the draft answer key of the Computer Based Examination on its official website after the examination. Candidates will be allowed to submit objections online within the prescribed period.
Only objections submitted through the authorised online mode within the deadline will be considered. Objections submitted through email, letter or other modes will not be entertained.
DSSSB e-Dossier 2026
Supporting documents will generally be sought from shortlisted candidates through the online e-Dossier process. Candidates who fail to upload their e-Dossier within the prescribed period will not be considered further and no additional opportunity will be provided.
The concerned user department will scrutinise the documents and verify educational qualification, category, age, reservation claims and other eligibility conditions.
