As per notification, a total 3548 graduate level vacancies has been announced for RRB NTPC (CEN 06/2026). Major Changes in RRB NTPC Graduate (CEN 06/2026)
As the notification is released for RRB NTPC Graduate, there are few major changes made by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) as given below:
- Vacancies Reduced: The total RRB NTPC Graduate vacancies have decreased from 5,810 in the previous notification to 3,548 in the current notification.
- Number of Posts Reduced: The recruitment now covers 4 posts instead of 6 posts. The current notification includes Chief Commercial Cum Ticket Supervisor, Goods Train Manager, Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist and Senior Clerk Cum Typist.
- Station Master Removed: The Station Master post, which was included in the previous notification, is not part of the current RRB NTPC Graduate recruitment.
- Traffic Assistant Removed: The Traffic Assistant post has also been removed from the current notification.
- Selection Process Simplified: The current selection process mainly includes CBT 1, CBT 2, Document Verification and Medical Examination. The Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) has been dispensed with for Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist and Senior Clerk Cum Typist. Since Station Master and Traffic Assistant are not included this time, CBAT is also not part of the current recruitment process.
- Pay Levels Reduced: Earlier, graduate posts were available under Pay Levels 4, 5 and 6. The current notification includes only Pay Level 5 and Pay Level 6 posts. With Traffic Assistant no longer included, Pay Level 4 has also been removed from the Graduate Level notification.

How to Apply for RRB NTPC Graduate Recruitment 2026?
The RRB NTPC Graduate application form 2026 will be activated online from 8th October to 6th November 2026 (11:59 PM). Candidates have to fill the application forms through the official RRB application portal for CEN No. 06/2026.
